The Gear tooth grinding is OMIG’s most recent department and it is equipped with state-of-the-art, reliable, and efficient technology to guarantee the highest production quality.
As we have always been production-focused, we equipped this department with machining centres with workpiece magazine with automatic feeding system.
Today OMIG has 4 grinding machines and 1 Klingelnberg P40 measuring center having the following features:
Horizontal gear tooth grinding system capable of processing a max diameter of 300 mm, module max 6, max workable strip length of 140 mm, fed by an anthropomorphic robot and workpiece magazine.
The KLINGELNBERG P40 measuring center, located in the teeth grinding machines dept., also allows the detection of roughness and it is focused for this department for the process control.
Gear tooth grinding system with double workspindle, capable of processing a Max diameter of 260 mm, a Module from 0.5 to 5, max workable strip length of 150 mm, fed by a feeder with 25-station workpiece magazine.
Gear tooth grinding system, capable of processing a Max diameter of 500 mm, Max Module of 10, max workable strip length of 400 mm, fed by an anthropomorphic robot and workpiece magazine.
Horizontal gear tooth grinding system with manual feeding system, capable of processing a Max diameter of 400 mm, Max Module of 10, max workable strip length of 800 mm.
