In the days from the 23rd to the 25th of March 2017 took place in Parma the important subcontracting exhibition “MECSPE <\/a>2017″, where many of our suppliers have exhibited and many potential new partners had their booth. Here’s what our colleagues told us after the visit:<\/p>\n

“What we immediately saw it has been a large influx of visitors compared to the previous edition. We have visited all the pavilions and as many as possible exhibitors, looking for intruments that could bring innovation to OMIG, in addition to the necessary analysis of new solutions to problems in getting raw materials and services.<\/p>\n

The various meetings showed that this 2017 started\u00a0very positively with concrete consequences on the sales volume<\/strong>; this dynamism has nevertheless caught unprepared many companies, since the production capacities have not had an adequate reaction time. This imbalance will continue for a few months (forecast over the first six moths are difficult to be defined).<\/p>\n

Many companies have already invested and others are making efforts to do so<\/strong>, thanks to government aid that helped to restore life to the market with the project “Industry 4.0”<\/p>\n

During our visit we have established direct conversations with some of our current suppliers as well as potential ones,<\/strong> in order to acknowledge the new solutions and use them in our reality to get in line with the demands that imposes the market.<\/p>\n

The focus of our visit was mainly addressed to finishing processes<\/strong> for items having big dimensions, with methods that can be alternative to grinding with a grinding wheel, such as lapping and hard turning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The dimensional control<\/strong> is another element that drew our attention, both for traditional and for specific instruments\u00a0for the process control, branch which is being upgraded in OMIG.<\/p>\n

The visit to ZEISS <\/a>stand was one of the most interesting one: this important company showed solutions with three-dimensional controls combined with the control of evolvents.<\/p>\n
