Over the past few months OMIG received the DNV inspector’s visit for the yearly consolidation of the quality system.
The meeting has been developed in two steps: during the first day we have carried out the visit for the fulfillment of the ISO 9001:2008, where no anomalies have been found.
On the second day we analyzed the gap between our management system standards and what it is requested by the regulations ISO 9001:2015, that OMIG will have to achieve during the year 2018.
As a matter of fact the new norms request that the company analyzes the risks related to its business, both towards its customers, its suppliers, employees, and third parties in general.
What does substantially change from the current norms? The company focus that is no longer only on the customer care, but the satisfaction of all the parties with whom the company relies.
OMIG started therefore to analyze all the risks connected with the business continuity, in order to be able to react on time on the eventual most critical issue.
